Yes....we finish the yr at the top of the league after so many yrs :-). Larrson will be joining in the transfer window, one of the few good things in the cming yr. Fucking Germans can go to hell, why can't they leave Hargreaves!!!!! Last 2 chelsea matches have been such a heartbreak...asses cmin behind to beat Everton and Wigan...I am really doubtful if we will be able to win the league this yr.
Looking forward to the Boxing day tomorrow, my money is on Cook to be Warne's 700th test victim. Also I think India will open with Pathan and Gambhir, lets c hw right i am..:).

Hi...again apologies for such a long break...i guess by now people really know how lazy i am. Well another update on my life, last time I left off somewhere when i ws in FMS second yr...

Well i managed to succesfully pass the gruellin full time course, and now m working with Ernst & Young as a consultant in delhi. Life is not very hectic, although most consultants will tell you how bad it is. Its just tht i choose to keep it the way it is. I try to spend more time doing different things, njoying my sports, and reading the books i missed earlier.

I guess thts it for a Monday morning, i know it will be a good week because ManU won and both Arsenal and Chelsea LOST !!!! :-)...

Hi, exams are here again & so are the late night sojourns. I was just going through this Google Adsense thing where you can allow Google ads on your personal pages. Heard a few people made a lot of money on this. Exams from day after tomorrow, starting with organizational effectiveness & change. Went through Ethics, Gender issues, women empowerment, etc. Got my tickets done for mumbai, will be leaving on 8th. Looking forward to a nice trip-meeting friends, traveling, reviving old ties..:).

Today also played a new game, Hitman- really cool stuff. I guess thats all for today, lots of hard slogging ahead in the next few days. Hope all this mugging doesn't take a big toll on my tiny top floor. Looking forward to the training in AP.

First of all, apologies for writing after such a long time. Its not that things in FMS r very hectic, its just that i hv become more lazy than i was in earlier. Since my last post on the dreaded summers night, a lot of things hv happened in my life. First, I got thru Asian Paints in my summers. Though I was looking for something in Finance, I hv kind of rationalized by taking marketing/sales as a new experience, something I might not do again in my life. Also my first sem result came out a few days ago, did ok, my roomies-both IITians blasted the result. Also finished the first module of live project-its about designing a sales promotion strategy/benchmarking for a new email service. Chalo guys, today i m planning to study economics, will try to be more regular frm now on. Take care.

wow......i just finished off a huge discussion with my roommate on capital account convertibility in india..i never imagined i could even understand those things........not that i am a whiz now.....but i can understand wht it means....and it really is confusing.....BTW....did u guys knw we don't hv full capital a/c convertibility in our country.....because we don't want to call the east asian crisis as south asian crisis......that was a bad one..sorry....well in most lay man terms....C A surplus is inflows - outflows.....inflows are capital investments like FDI, FII made by foreigners in our country and outflows u r smart enough to understand...well.....when these people come in with their large dollar boxes in our country...wht happens is there an excess of dollars in country...leading to the appreciation of our currency...leading to less exports and more imports.....leading to current account deficit...this is to balance the 'balance of payments'......now...if we allow full cap. a/c convertibility...one fine day these foreigners want to go back.....bcoz they feel homesick......and they come to the market and say.....hey take yur indian money....and give me back my dollars....then wht will happen......suddenly these guys will take all the dollars back.....and the system will be full of indian money.......wht will happen.....our currency will depriciate heavily......plus due to excess liquidity in the system...it will fuel the demand for goods........which will not be met by the supply...leading to demand pull inflation.......hence.....we conclude that we don't need full capital account convertibility.......if u hv any doubts...go and clear yurself.....bcoz i am already mad now.......thank god i did engineering.....its a lot more fun.........gnite...

Hi,
I am back again after a long time. A lot has happened since then, a lot of projects, assignments, company forms. I have been thinking about something an FMS alumni mentioned a few days back. FMS produces the smartest managers in India is what the guy said, and i really believe what he says because people here are so quick in their thinking, you just can't beat an FMSite when it comes to talking. Rubbing shoulders with such talented people is really a huge value add. I have learnt a lot in these 2-3 months, and lot more to learn. I think the 3 days of summers will teach me more than what I have ever learnt in my life before. Yesterday night, I started work on my first project in FMS - IT implementation in Shoppers' Stop. I really feel that IT will change everything, the knowledge of IT will be the most sought after thing in this world. A lot of people don't agree with me on that, but only time will tell. The company forms that I have been filling have really given me a chance to explore myself, to see what I am, and what I stand for. I hope all this culminates in a good summers. Bye for now.

Hi. Back after a long time. A lot of things have happened since the last post. Yes I hv made it to FMS. But really, the feeling that I should be on the top of the world hasn't come. Sometimes I really feel, why are we running this mad race. That day i was thinking that a day is too short, only 24 hours. Already people around hv started talkin abt placements/lakhs etc. Sumit Gupta is fast changing into a commodity. I really don't know, looking at all the people around me, I feel why i am not that ambitious as these people are. My head is really going in circles. Thats it for today. Rest tomorrow. I hope i am more regular frm now on. Gud nite.

Random Thoughts

Hi, today there was some improvement, got up at 9. did something good read the whole ET and "the fifth mountain" Paulo Coelho. Again no work in office, as usual played TT. Did 2 good things today. called up the NGO's and set up a meeting time and then called all my friends for the party i am giving on sunday 6th June 2004.
While going back home yesterday in our dear bus, a few thoughts zoomed past my mind. Top of the table was ofcourse my FMS thing. WL has cleared till 36, wow so close and yet so far. I don't know, is God playing games with me. Still i believe, whatever happens, happens for good. Other thoughts, well some other day. today got to leave early. one guy is coming for my prep material. also i have to finish this fifth mountain book today. the mdi assignment is really exciting. i hope things go well. for fms, my fingers r crossed. May the best player win. :). ciao

My First Day

wow.....finally i am also blogging. i don't know why i am doing it. maybe because all chill people i know do it. lets see how long this lasts. today was a total waste, fucked the whole day. got up at fucking 12. as usual cursed myself got up from bed and straight to watch tv. in b/w a lot of things happened, finally got ready and just managed to catch the company bus. in office nothin much to do, one mail from ajay asking for some solution's data. ajay is my PL. he is basically a nice guy, wht the hell so is every T, D n H.
There is one big irony in my life. TIME. I feel it is so precious that i read in the bus also so that i don't waste time. and when i have time to do something, i fuck it off.
Anyway wht i feel is that in life, if we inculcate good processes, keep adding value to us, in the long run we will benifit. just now in my msng sagar raturi came online. he is also a nice guy. i guess that's all for today. i hope i am there tomorrow to spill some blood. good night.
